How to Install Atlas OS Windows 10
Atlas OS Windows 10 is a modified version of Microsoft Windows that enhances gaming performance. It also minimizes system and network latency, ensuring a smooth gaming experience.
Designed by the Windows Ameliorated team, Atlas OS disables performance-hungry security mitigations and other “heavy” processes that can affect system and gaming performance. It helps reduce the footprint of Windows, optimizes performance, and minimizes data collection without compromising system safety.
The Atlas OS installation process is quick and easy, but it’s important to make sure that you’re backing up your files before beginning the setup. This will ensure that you don’t lose any crucial information.
1. Install Atlas OS with Bootable USB
The first step is to create a bootable USB drive. This is a simple process that involves downloading a bootable USB creator tool and establishing a connection between the computer and the USB drive.
2. Copy the Atlas OS file to the root directory of your USB.
In this step, you need to extract the Atlas (version).zip file to the root directory of your USB and move AME Wizard to the same location.
3. Connect your USB to your PC, and select the Windows 10 ISO you downloaded in Step 2 of this section.
4. Choose GPT if your computer is in UEFI boot mode under Partition scheme, or MBR if it’s in Legacy boot mode.
5. Click START and then OK in the Windows User Experience popup.
Once you’ve completed the installation, the system will be ready to go. It will automatically install all the drivers you need. If you’re a gamer, be aware that the operating system may delete your existing files during the installation process. So, be sure to create a backup of your files on an external hard drive or in the cloud.
